Yes, it’s snowing. Yes, I sat in traffic for three hours to get to work when it normally takes me 45 minutes to an hour. Yes, my ankles are showing and No, I don’t give an F. Why? Because I’ve been concocting this outfit in my head all week and come hell or high water (or snow), I’ll be damned if I’m not wearing it.
Holler.

Fashion Fact #3015: Mixing prints is one of the most fun things a girl can do. They may not go together, but somehow you have to make them work. And that, my friends, is a style accomplishment in and of itself. I, honest to God, feel the best when I mix up things that don’t typically go together.
And then to really complete ANY animal print look, light on the makeup, HEAVY on the red lipstick. Hello, Gwen Stefani circa ALWAYS.

XII Likes To Rain On Parades

I have been wanting a pair of black & white oxfords for quite some time now. Let’s face it, I was born in the wrong era. If shoe design made any sense to me, I’d probably be a part of it, but alas, it does not. Anyway, I’m a sucker for cheap shoes (and those of you that know me are very, very aware of this as I’m pretty hard on my shoesies). Mistake #1, looking online at Forever 21. Either they don’t have what I want OR they have EXACTLY what I want, but not in the right size. It never ceases to drive me insane. That, OR they like to put the most common size (a medium) on the mannequins so when you go to search for the item you oh-so-desire, the only one left is on the mannequin. And the Forever 21 gods forbid that you take ANYTHING off of their precious displays. Even though, I do when do one is looking. FIGHT THE POWER!…..and that’s my rant for the day.

If anyone comes across a size 8, black & white oxford identical to this one, you know who to contact.
