Erin Fetherston & Her Weird Looking Model

Love me some pleats.

Fashion ALERT: Fun Sleeves are a MUST for Fall. AND, that necklace is to die for.

Dance pants!

VOTED: Most Rockable.

Holy Bow Blazer, Batman! Must have. Bury me in.

I think, actually, I AM obsessed with this pale pink sheer fabric. It can’t do any wrong.

In a nutshell: Not too sure how I feel about the fairy-like designer’s lower priced line. It’s still too expensive for this fashionista, but it’s still some nice eyecandy. In true Fetherston form, there’s plenty of sheer, floating pieces and of course, bows. On a sidenote, does anyone else think this model is kindof….odd looking?

G-Star Raw. What were you thinking? Jhorts, really? And under a nice wool jacket at that? Fail.

Patching Things Up With Rebecca Taylor

Can’t go wrong with a sweetheart neckline. Infactuated with the fuschia print.

Taylor did a lot of patchworking throughout this collection. I’m particularly fond of this mini with pockets and sheer sleeves.

Furs going to be BIG for Fall 2011. Mark my words. It’s gonna be EVERYWHERE.

Not completely in awe of the overall look, but the color combo is pretty unique. And shimmery. :)

Well hi there, cute little ruffley number.

In A Nutshell: Not my favorite Taylor collection, but I can appreciate her recycling of fabric’s from past designs and using them as patchwork pieces.

Give Me Libertine Or Give Me Death.

Hello, amazing color palette and TDF (to die for) patterned tights.

There’s something that’s really special about this purple graphic print boxy-jacket.

In A Nutshell: Graphic prints and bold colors with a vintage sixties vibe where the garments look like they may have just gone through a romp on a floor of paint. LOVE.LOVE. LOVE. The minimalistic graphics. And of course, the wrist length gloves.

Great Expectations of Marchesa

Sighhhhh….soo very, very lovely.

Kindof reminds me of the Givenchy swan gown Florence Welch wore to the Grammys. Regardless, it’s still impeccable and overly gorge.

I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVE how you can barely see the nearly nude socks under the adorable Mary Jane Loubs. Cutest party dress. EVER.

The Black Swan phenomenon has officially reached the fashion industry. I REALLY want to see someone wearing this beaut at the Oscars. Damn, Natalie for getting knocked up. She would have looked stunning in this. Stun-ning.

Paired with the most adorable lace up heels, I rest my case on the Black Swan. (Is it just me or do the shoes kindof remind you of pointe shoes?).

Call 911. I’m having a heartattack over this dress. I’m not sure which I love more. The fact that the design is sooo breathtakingly beautiful OR that the white accouturements were actually handsewn onto the black sheer fabric.

Oscar gown. I guarentee it.

Marchesa always leaves me completely inspired and wanting to challenge myself in the manipulation of tulle. They are such geniuses, I can’t even stand it. AND, I wonder if the models have as much fun showing off the clothes, as the clothes are delightful.

In A Nutshell: The high profile label turned their heads to the Victorian era and drew inspiration from Miss Havisham in Great Expectations. However, as stated, I see a complete ode to the film, Black Swan. Maybe it’s just the overage of tulle that I adore soo much. It also seems as though the British designers have stepped out of their comfort zone and did a collection that was still very much them, but a bit, well, darker. Has some meat to it.

Isaac Mizrahi (& His Ice Cream Paint Shop)

Hello, bow.

Really vibing the built-in semi bow. NOTE.

The pepto bismol cigarette pants paired with the lilac top and jacket are GENIUS. Would totally rock this look with big glasses. (And check that purse, ahhhhhmazing).

Sooooo retro….sooo stunning.

Liquid Candy.

In A Nutshell: Total retro eye candy with a buttercream color scheme and grey accents. BOW OVERLOAD. Yessssssss!

The Blonds (Glitter On The Floor)

DYING over these sequin leggings.

Mark my words: Gaga will be seen in this in the coming months.

There’s something about a tinted pink color palette paired with purple that REALLY makes my insides glow.

Again, Gaga. Because she was born this way.

In A Nutshell: Inspirations of the Orient paired with sequins, glitter, and some Gaga-ian showiness.

Doo.Ri Fall Collection 2011

Falling kindof behind on Fashion Week. Best Friend Birthday Weekend….it happens. Decided I’m just going to start doing a visual journal of all of my favorite looks. Makes me life more simple and gives YOU some serious eyecandy. :-)

In A Nutshell: Simplicistic floor skimming pieces in neutrals (greys, black, rich navy).

You Say Hoodarf, I Say Snood….Let’s Call The Whole Thing Off.

Everyone said I was crazy with the snood idea. Well, well, well….look what’s coming down the runway for Fall, hmmm. That’s right, Snoods, or Hoodarfs (which I will admit, makes a little bit more sense). Regardless, the hood/scarf combo was sported down the catwalk in various shows including Robert Geller, Antonio Azzuolo, and Simon Spurr, just to name a few. But, theirs don’t include a sexyhot animal print. That’s a VICTROLA original, ladies and gents. Write that down.

Flash mobs. I wish I knew enough people to actually DO one. The mere thought of putting one together excites me. I’ve always try to think about cool places to have one, but I think fashion designer, Moncler Grenoble, beat me to the punch. Tonight, Grenoble debuted his Fall 2011 collection in the middle of Grand Central Station at 7:00 pm. A little bit after rush hour, but how awesome would it have been to have seen that. Soo out of the box. Just goes back to my theory on the relationship between dance & fashion. Very much intertwined.

Steven Alan, The Urban Cowboy

Slight newcomer, Steven Alan, debutes a fall collection that I find really smart, funny, and somewhat like Vena Cava’s ode to the 90s, but with a more rustic approach. Pretty neutral color palette with small uses of florals and animal prints (I’m fawning over a camel ensemble with a touch of cheetah….mmmm). All I know is, is that I’d definately want to date a guy that can dress like this. Sue me.

Loving the striped leggings.

Loving the striped leggings.

I may get shot for saying this, but can anyone else see this paired with a beat up jean jacket? Oh God…..the nineties invasion has commerced.

Dear Future Manfriend,

Please dress like this daily. Pleaseandthankyou.

FAVORITE piece of the entire collection.

Manfriend, Take notes.

Hello, Adorable outfit. Nice to meet you.

Vena Cava’s Ode To The Nineties

I feel like the New York based label, Vena Cava’s latest collection for Fall was the brainchild of Courtney Love circa 90s. Midriff baring crop tops. A total grunge and overall Portland vibe. Long tight dresses. Wider leg pants. Everything I couldn’t rock when I was just a wee tyke playing on my Lite-Brite in my ‘Roos.

Hello, sexiest high-waisted wide leg pants I’ve ever seen. (Note: hot platforms).

Day 1: Lyn Devon Fall 2011

Lots of neutrals with pops of color. Vibing the geometric use. Relatively simple pieces, but extremely wearable. I’d rock the following looks, real easy.

Luca, Luca, Luca

Two words. Color. Prints. That’s all I ever want in a collection. Well, that and great design, but that’s a given. I’m soo thankful that Luca Luca’s designer, Raul Melgoza, went for a bold color scheme including lots of hot pinks and oranges (which is said to be this year’s “color”). The bright colors warm me up, even when it’s below zero outside.

Loving the color combo on such a classic piece.

Faaaaawwwwwnnnning.

Metallics+Fur Cape= Love.

I’d rock this look.
